How far can Artificial Intelligence reach?
For me and many
others the term "Artificial
intelligence" sounds both exciting and frightening. Across the
time, the world has known an incredibly series of amazing inventions that
significantly changed humans’ lifestyle. Who could imagine a driverless car or
similar intelligent machines?, probably not many of us. Most experts in
technology emphasizes on the fruits of AI, however others reveals contradicting
facts.
Is everything
Positive about Artificial intelligence?
Who can ignore that
AI educates better, or it’s numerous roles in medicine, industries and its
exceptional capacity of making everything smart and easy. However Artificial
Intelligence effects can go much deeper and raise an interesting question: What
will happen when Artificial Intelligence will surpass the performance of
humans? Just imagine the time when an AI will be able to write a bestseller
book or perform surgery better than humans and achieve much more. The idea that
initially started as creating something that acts like humans is turning to
creating something that performs better than humans.
What do experts say
about this?
According to MIT, experts from Northern America estimates that Artificial Intelligence
will surpass the performance of humans in the following 72 years but other
experts from Asia estimates that this will only take 38 years. Why such
interval between estimations? The majority of calculations made by different
experts fail to precise the same period of time. And on the other hand, Survey
Respondents clearly predicts that by 2024 or 2026, AI will be able to translate
languages better than humans, drive trucks safely than they do and the list
goes on... this can only show the dramatic impact that AI can have on humans’
lifestyle. However other experts express the numerous advantages presented by
Artificial intelligence (AI).
Even though the
precision and exactness of Artificial Intelligence are of no doubts, certain
tasks require feelings, affection and conscience that are owned by humans. And
the sense of human beings remains uncopiable.
